I’m Mimi, welcome to The Mimi Glow! This space is where faith, self-love, and embracing your inner glow come together to inspire your journey. This is where I’ll share the lessons I’ve learned, the challenges I’ve faced, and the grace that has carried me through every season of life.

My story is filled with twists and turns, but one thing has been constant—God’s faithfulness. From star athlete to single mom at 21, from college dropout to earning three degrees with honors, from military officer to wellness coach and creative entrepreneur, every chapter has shaped me into the woman I am today.

I’ve experienced heartbreak, healing, and hope. And if sharing my story helps even one person step into their light and embrace their glow, it will all be worth it.

A Turning Point: 

In 2011, my life took a transformative turn. I stopped chasing what the world told me I should be and began focusing on my mind, body, and spirit. That year, I enlisted in the military, an act of faith that required me to trust God completely and let my faith be bigger than my fears.

Leaving my 7-year-old daughter to go to boot camp was one of the hardest decisions I’ve ever made, but it was also one of the most rewarding. That step of faith opened doors I never thought possible and taught me to believe in myself in a way I never had before.

The journey wasn’t easy—there were storms, setbacks, and heartbreaks. But through it all, I discovered that when you lean into faith and trust God’s plan, you can weather anything. That choice to let my light shine, no matter the circumstances, became the heart of The Mimi Glow—a reflection of faith, resilience, and the power of embracing your inner glow. I’ve never looked back.

Faith, Family, and Growth:

In 2023, God blessed me with a miracle I never expected: my baby girl, Serenity Luna. With an 18-year gap between my firstborn and my second, I never imagined having a toddler at 41, but Serenity has filled my heart with so much love and light. She’s a daily reminder of God’s perfect timing and the beauty of trusting His plan.

My daughters are my greatest joy and the reason I keep striving to be the best version of myself. They remind me every day that faith, love, and resilience can carry us through anything.

A New Season:

Here we are, stepping into 2025, a new season filled with faith, purpose, and gratitude. Last year was a whirlwind, but I’m ready to embrace what’s ahead with open hands and a grateful heart.

The Mimi Glow isn’t just a blog—it’s a reflection of my journey, my faith, and my hope to inspire others to embrace their light. My prayer is that this space will remind you to trust God, lean into self-love, and boldly pursue the life you’re called to live.
